A little wheelbarrow talk on Tractor Tales, and wandering if you have ever seen one of these?

I've got a transport box but never seen the conversion kit only in pictures. Think it was in picture overseas--England maybe. If Gene Kruse see's this he can build one or may have already built one. I'd like to have one.How about you Richard? Anyone have one or dimensions so it can be built?

I have never seen the kit and wandered if only made across pond? I few years ago I met John Farnsworth, he walked up and ask if this was my tractor and box then said he wrote the book. I messed up not getting him to autograph my display for me. The pictures were on two different pages in book I combined them and made larger and laminated to use at shows. When I got my box it had a couple of hinges welded under it where someone had made a small dump trailer for lawn tractor out of it. Jim

Hello Jim, I also have only seen one with the conversion unit and it also was in a picture. Because the part no is TE-JE-90 I am guessing that was for England units only. I have never seen anything like that using a TO part number.

miner09, you did not have to ask me a question like that. You should know if it has anything to do with Ferguson, I am interested, depending on the $$$.

These are rare. I saw this one a few years back in England. It sold several weeks after the 2018 EXPO for 1,400 UKP or $1,800. If you can not get the website below to work let me know and I will try to give you the website for all of the sale items. This was a well known Ferguson Collector and at one time was a FENA member.

Jim, I can see what you are saying about combining the two pages which would make a great display page. Looking through John Farnworth's book, (Ferguson Implements and Accessories) I noticed toward the bottom of the article on the Transport Box it says later boxes were modified to fit the FE-35 tractor better. Width became 32.5 in and length 49 in. overall. It also said Shepherds would build a cage on top to carry sheep. The UK people had another Transporter Box which was either a Tipping or Non Tipping unit which used all three points to carry it. Model # T-JE-21/22/23/24. Their width was 68.5 in.

Richard, an accessory I made for the box for show use or tractor ride. Used sassafras we cut off of other farm about 35 yrs ago, where the TO 35 farmed from 1955 until about 1995.
