Sorry I did not answer your question earlier, but I do not use my computer much on Sunday. Stockbridge is known as the PCP capitol of Michigan. I don't know how much truth there is in that, but my biggest mistake was to buy in Washtenaw county. The abundant giveaway artists here have driven the taxes up so much I can't believe it. I might look in Livingston county's Unidilla township or in Jackson county to the west. I do not know what your work deal is, so it is up to you... I do know that prices in Stockbridge are less than to the east. Good luck.... John

PCP - a drug? I thought that was like an 80's thing! Livingston county is being developed and we are paying for the development. I think the current system of development, where existing taxpayers pay for the infrastructure for new development sucks. If you want to build a subdivision, fine, pay for the new roads, schools, fire and police. The current model, is the developer makes a big profit, the homeowner's get the big bill.
