HF Chicago electric bandsaw

Was cutting 3" metal pipe today, and the bandsaw blade quit turning. opened it up and found the drive wheel, has an internal ring gear in it and a 3/4" section of the plastic gears was stripped. I am posting this to inform any one else which has this problem, that if you will change places with the front and rear wheels, you can go back to work. Aparently chicago electric opted to use the same part on both ends of the saw, and the drive ring gear is in the undriven wheel also. Might help someone!
