what is your name? you sound lke you know quite a bit about allis tractors.... i thought i knew everyone around..

haha its ok... lanse if i were you.. id take the sheel metal off and prep that. so its done. then worry about the oter stuff... i know the engine is stuck. and i know guys have said not to jack it up on the crank.. but id do it. ive done it many times no problems.

Yeah, im between a rock and a hard place here. I allready have the ATF and the PB so i guess i'll try that first, then go with the crank. Its partially i want to try it, old swears by ATF and others say it just wont work so theres one way to find out. I have allready sanded and primed most of er' but i ran out of primer on the back, so the back and the bottom are primed thinly or not at all.

get the hood off.. take the head off and go from there. get you a mixture of atf, kroil,pb, and gibbs. and wait patiently ;)

I actually don't know all that much about Allis, but I was forced to learn a few things when the headgasket on our C blew last month. :) It was a great learning experience.
