if I man cannot have a Farmall Super A or Cub with hillers/barout disc

then he has to settle for an old Ferguson cultivator with a set of hillers/barout disc

but it is sure easier to stay on dead center of the row with the Farmall's

however this old cultivator will work, just have to be more careful, cannot set up there and day dream.

That's a good smart idea. Why not use what you have. I use farmall cubs for all my planting, hilling, cultivating needs. Can't beat the offset cultivision. This may help you keep the 3pt in a straight line. Phil from RedRock sells them or make your own.

I have one of those guides for use when I was cultivating two rows, but now I just cultivate one row at a time,
Unfortunately the row is directly under the tractor, I guide on the center ridge of the hood, but the old tractor is like me, kinda worn and a bit unstable at times,

It does much better with the disc turned in for hilling, for some reason the disc turned against each other for barring out the row is much more difficult to control with my setup, as the hitch pins balls on the old tractor are worn,
I have an adjustable stabilizer on one side so I can lock her down fairly tight.

It would be a pleasure to use a tractor like your farmall to cultivate, I bet as you set right up above the row you can almost hoe the plants as go along,

I have ask my local vegetable seed dealer if they have grass spray for sweet corn, was told they do, but it is very expensive and most of us would only need a small amount,
So I am still out there plowing my garden corn and beans
