Hiniker Cab Never mounted

I was never a fan of the Year Round and Hiniker cabs back in the day. They were better than nothing in cold weather for sure but other than that....... Anyway, I came across a Hiniker cab that was never mounted and sitting in a barn. Is there a market for something like this and does it have anymore value than a run of the mill Hiniker or Year Round?

I doubt it would make much difference in the value unless you found somebody that wanted it and you had the correct mounts for his tractor. Otherwise most of those old cabs have been removed and junked already. Around here you can't hardly give them away.

Kind of what I figured. I havent been able to lay eyes on it yet but am told glass is pristine and door handles, hinges, and latches are all like new as well. We believe the mounts are for a 1066.

They are not as nice as the later factory cabs but they sure beat setting out in the sun and hay dust
I bought a Ansen off of a 1066 a few years ago that is in decent condition
I could be interested in a better one or one to put on another tractor although I know I ll have to fab mounts
Where is this one located ?

Don't run it over with the bulldozer and throw it in the scrap pile just yet. Those Hiniker 1300 series cabs were about the best option for an IH tractor up until the 86 series came along, and there's a sizeable market for an NOS cab.

If you could get it advertised somewhere with national exposure and get people bidding against each other for it you'd probably be surprised.

I hope to get over there and lay eyes on it and some other nice stuff later this week. I will post back with condition and possibly a picture or two. Located in north central Illinois.
