History of the Model Y, 62, and L tractors

(quoted from post at 14:07:45 04/26/22) Some interesting reading from an email sent by Richard Hain, editor of Green Magazine.
Green Magazine article

I suspect Green magazine's articles to be a little blind about competition.

Allis Chalmers had the B fully out in 1937 and can aldo claim to have expanded this market. The Y, L, La looks
more like Deere response to AC.

The Deere Y and the Allis B began development at about the same time. but the Allis B is a much larger tractor.

The Deere model H was JD's response to the B. (John Deere Tractors and Equipment 1937-1959 by MacMillan)
