hitachi dx40m dozer manual

Im looking for a hitachi dx40m dozer parts and service manual. Can anyone send me in the right direction to find parts for this dozer. Thanks Steve

Do you have a DX40 or a DX40-C? The M is a soft ground designation. MM is a super soft ground model. I have a S/M and P/M for the DX40-C and a P/M for the DX40. What is your serial number?

My Model # is FD40P and the serial # is 1549
thanks for the response, I"ve been searching the web for months and can"t seem to find anything. My dozer still run"s great however I"m dreding the time it breaks down. Any info you can give me would be great and I would be willing to pay for a copy of the manuals and for your time to do it. Thanks Steve

I have them as .pdf files (Adobe)
I will send you the DX40 parts book and you can then see if it fits your unit. I believe that Furakawa built these units. Does it have a 40 hp Isuzu engine in it?

Yes Furakawa built this dozer and it does have a 40hp Isuze engine, sounds like the same machine.

I have a Furukawa FD40 as well and unable to locate any manuals. Would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

i just got a parts manual from kent Baugh $80. in english with excelent parts diagram/ assembly He is knowlegable in the Furukawa/Hitach located in Tx, he has a lot of parts for Komatsu on e-bay but the manuals are not listed I also got a complete set of tracks for my FD40 from him. He seems to know what will interchange also

I have a DX40M and I am desperate to get a service manual or some info. I have sourced a parts manual from Kent Braugh in Tx but I cannot find anywhere including Hitachi in Australia what type of oil in the oil clutch, final drives and the gear box. Because it is a direct import they refuse all information. The number on the hydraulic filter is another mystery.

I have an Hitachi Dozer that I would like to find out a little more about and some parts, It says Hitachi CX40 on the side and the serial number C05B-5670 Thought it may be a DX40 any place to find out more on this and parts would be greatly appreciated.
