very simple question!!!!!

our rules in new england say mi. 20in. max. 36 in. from center of rear axle to center of clevis ?????? (I) thought 36 would be best but I see a lot of tractors closer to 20 in.???

Shorter will give you more pull down on your tires, longer will give you more lift like a lever(more leverage). In my opinion, shorter is better. I probably just opened a can of worms. Anyway, everybody has an opinion.
