HLR transmission

I have a straight John Deere 450 dozer with the HLR transmission. The dozer has been setting for a long period of time. The guy that owned had passed away so I can’t get any history on it. It starts and runs fine, I have 150 psi it the transmission. I can shift gears but the hlr shifter will not move at all. I’m know that it is inside the transmission. I haven’t taken the top cover off yet, I have it all ready to be removed. Question is what should I look for that would make it impossible to move the shift linkage?

Welcome to the forums.

Do you have the correct John Deere service/technical manual for your straight 450?

Have you unhooked the HLR linkage at the side of the transmission and confirmed everything external moves without issue?

If it does, there is not much choice but to open it up and look inside.
