Hmmmmm? Thoughts Welcome

Ok, I just got a call--"a 1949 and a 19508N for quick sale". So I started with the questions--Only info I got was "both are 12V, one has 2 new front tires, there are some new wires, one has hood off and has been painted, one has a new {that thing on front(alt/gen?} etc etc... Question is, worth going to see what is up? What do you feel this deal is worth? (your info is limited as mine i have put all I know out here) Bizarre to say the least and going on a mad hunt for 8n's was not on my schedule for tomorrow. Thanks for any input.

For 2? If both run take a gun and a mask with you.....make the seller feel right about the deal! Even if one is part way apart.

If even one runs and the other looks in decent shape it sounds like a deal to me. A good hood would sell for at least $200 to $250 even if one engine was shot and you had to part it out.
Or, better yet, if one engine is shot then make the best out of the two and have spare parts. BUT, it is even better if both will run.

If only one of them runs, I would go for it! around here a running, usable 8N sells for $1800.00 to $2500.00 depending on sheet metal and tires.

yep, 1400 for both, they would be at my house
(after I tried to get him to take 1200,of course :-) )
when I got them home, the best of the two would get
all the best parts from both.
I'd put #2 together and do what it took to get
it running and moving.
sell #2 cheap ( and honestly) and
get most/all of my money back
