In cleaning out grandmothers house I came across alot of original manuals and the bill of sale for the 200 my grandfather purchased in 1964. Here is what it came with. Snowplow, 8 foot disc, 2 bottom plow, 1 bottom plow, sickle mower. Total purchase price was $1400 . In it's current condition , working and tires should be replaced. I would guess it's probably worth about that much today. Alas the snowplow and mower are gone but not forgotten. It was a nice find.

Wellllll, not quite. Remember in 1963 cigarettes cost 23 cents a pack, if that, and gasoline was about the same. Not quite the same today.

Just being nostalgic about a nice find not asking for a lesson on inflation.

I thought this was a tractor forum not economics 101.
Its quite obvious that $1400 now is worth less than $1400 53 some odd years ago.

Clint, I'm with you. It's nice to find those old treasures of days gone by. I'm cleaning out my parents house, and came across the hospital bills for delivery of us 3 sons. My older brother $150, me $250, my younger brother $500.

I hope your using that 200.
