So how did you make it? Drill out the old injector? I need one to test my 550 Ford backhoe! I wonder if one can be rented?

I had a bad injector to make the adapter . I had to cut the original fitting off the injector then I cut a swivel hydraulic fitting in half drilled it out then pushed it on the old injector welded it in place then I took the guts out of the injector and cut the tip off the injector . Then a hydraulic hose a liquid filled gauge and fitting to put it all together. I dont know if you could find a compression tester to rent or not ? I figured this would be cheaper than the cheap sets that didnt have the right adapter so I made my own

Thats a half Azzed one as u will only get one puff on the gauge,u have no check valve to hold the pressure for each puff.

i got to looking at that one and done see any way to release the pressure . might have to add in your own valve.

that is a check valve with no release valve.
as i said you need to add the release valve to bleed the pressure off after each test.

I need one for a 550 Ford backhoe. I was going to go to the fuel injection shop in Greeley to see if they had an old one. The engine misses on one cylinder till it gets warmed up.
