I guess this is a cab someone made isn't it? Looks like someone put some effort into it. I don't see why though. It doesn't keep the rain out or the heat in. I guess if it was fully enclosed you could get heat from the engine. I wouldn't want to chance that with these old tractors. Could windup breathing fumes.

Apparently you are not familiar with tractor "weather brakes" or "heat housers"? A GOOGLE search will bring you up to speed on either term, been around FOR EVER.

It's not so much a matter of "knowing everything" as it is of having spent many semi-warm hours moving snow with tractors so equipped!:)

We had those on WD Allis-Chalmers and they worked pretty good since it is open under the gas tank and engine heat came back. I don't see that happening on a Ford tractor. Seeing through that plastic window was never great. They went out when cabs became more popular. Company I worked for had one on a One-Eighty Allis open tractor for snow removal within recent years and I think it could obtained for free-Don't want it??

Yup been around a long time.
I had one on a 3000.
Plowing snow in winter with it my neghbors said it looked like I was riding around in the popemobile.
