Homemade Splitting Stand Pics

Maybe this will be helpful to somebody. I used a couple of scaffold leveling jacks, a piece of 8" channel (way overkill), some angle iron and a couple pieces of pipe that fits over the scaffold jack screws. I had to buy the casters, but the rest come from the scrap pile. Works good so far.

A dry pilot bearing is the reason for the split. Figured I might as well go ahead & replace both clutches, pressure plat, rear main seal & pto oil seal. A $10 bearing is going to cost me somewhere North of $600 and that is with aftermarket parts.

Do a Google seach for "scaffold jack" and take your pick from a few hundred thousand results.
