A friend has as 2113 mower that starts as though the decompress is not working very well. Puts a lot of load on the starter to get it spinning but runs nice and starts quick once it flips over. He may have some fuel/oil getting onto the top of the piston from who-knows-where when it sits for a while, causing some hydo-lock, as it ocasionally belches smoke on start-up----but more like gas than oil.
Any ieas on adjusting the decompress or why it should need adjusted?
