The CYCLONE AIR PRE-CLEANER was a dealer optional extra accessory, never a factor installed item. In your sketch, you will remove items 1, 4, and 7 to install it. You
keep the 4 screws and use them. Pretty straight forward, cut and dried. Dennis Carpenter makes all the parts for it except the basic housing. All including the glass
jar are exact reproductions. Note there two rubber gaskets required, one goes under the glass jar, and is just a flat rubber band-like sealer. The other gasket goes on
the back outlet to the air cleaner to make the air seal. That one is just a piece if rubber hose cut in a section. It willsie atdard 1/2 Pint Mason jar if you don't
have the Cyclone jar. The Cyclone was first released for the 9N tractor. It is slightly different than the one used on the later 8N and then there was one for the NAA
tractor. The tractor air cleaners were all different so how they mount is what changes. Units will not interchange, but some parts like the glass jar, bail, and
gaskets do. I have a nice OEM/NOS 9N Unit for sale including the instruction manual. Look in YT ADS forum. Emil is open.
