Hood removal with loader???

Looks like I have to replace the head gasket on my 8N front mount. It has a Wagner loader. Anyone ever take the hood off with the loader on?

Trying to be a bit lazy.

I'm not sure about the 8N, but I was able to remove the hood and dog legs from my Jubilee with my Wagner loader in place, so I think you should be able to also. Loader doesn't attach anywhere on the hood, so it seems like you should. Give it a try.

I removed mine when I needed to replace the gas tank.

I mainly remember needing to curse often.

I pulled the hood off my 2n with a deaborn loader on it. It was very difficult to do be myself. If the paint is good, I wouldn't try it without a hoist.

Thanks for the help. I will remove hood without taking off loader.

I have a replacement hood to install.

I keep the band-aids hand.
