There may be one of the after market hoods that are better than the others. I don't have any information which one, as they are probably all made in China, or some foreign country..

BTW, you need to support the front end of the tractor better than what you have there in the photo. Consider the damage you can have, should it happen to fall, like replacing the oil pan, broken front crank, snapped front axle, etc...The 4 x 4 doesn't give it any security..

Josh I have not used any of the hoods but have bought the repop fenders and well satisfied. I think the sheet metal likely all made in China as with most everything anymore. Looks like you are well on the way to a nice tractor when your done.

Why not buy a true hood for your tractor. I know theres a good number of us that have a hod or 2 laying around. I know I have one off a 2N and I also still have one on an 8N parts tractor. Replacemnets are ok but a used one is probably better even if you have to pop out a few dents. At least a used one you know will fit

If anyone has an 8n hood that is in good condition that they would part with let me know. The orginal hood on the tractor is shot. The rib parts are rusted all the along it.

I have a need for a good as can be found 2N hood, grill, fenders all of the above.

Maybe someone can tell what the going rate is for a good take off piece that is not all bent up like the one I took off my tractor.

BTW my 2N is a 1944 Vintage if that matters.
