Horse pulled Reversible disc plow

Has anyone here seen or have experience with a horse-drawn "Reversible" (Brand Name) disc plow? I am removing a reasonably good specimen from my Grand-dads hedgerow out back. I will try to get a picture if it doesn't snow. I am after original literature (or copy).

Hello Richard, Where are you located? Are you interested in selling your Chattanooga Reversible Disk sulky Plow? McCormick Deering bought out Chattanooga and McCormick Deering listed this plow in there 1923 General Catalog.

Do a search for "Small Farmers Journal". I think they had some manuals/advertisements for plows like that. I know they were covered in a book the owner did.

Sorry, this one was given to me and I could have sold it many times.
It is here to stay and may get used at demonstrations at the Foothills Farmstead in the future.

Photos of my plow.
This one has Patent Pending on it.
They were patented in Oct, 1907.
So this one is older than that.
Only thing missing is the oil can.
Wish I could find a photo of the original type can.

I like the looks of the Chattanooga Disc plow. Does anyone have pictures of other reversible horse drawn plows. I watched one You Tube video clip of a reversible plow working but I couldn't see much detail. When was this type plow first started to be used? The reversible must have been a real innovation when It came to plowing a field so you wouldn't waist much time on the ends and leave a "dike" in the middle.

There are some books out there, out of print now I imagine, on horse drawn plows. I think CH Wendell did one and so did LR Miller. They had a lot of color prints. I have both, but they are buried in the barn after I got moved out of "my project room" by my wife!

hmmm, our wife's just don't understand good clean fun! I have most of my "stuff" out in the man cave in my shop to keep peace in the house. I am blessed with a great wife, that said, I don't want to push the envelope and find the edge of "hot water" either. If you can rummage around and get access to your books, I, for one, would really like the references and any good pictures you could post here. My reversible plow still has the cast iron seat on it and the tool box but my grand dad had converted it to be pulled by one of his early tractors many years ago. I want to take it back to usable horse drawn configuration.
