hot water pressure washer

I was wondering if anyone here would know anything about pressure washer pumps, I have a 3500psi hot water pressure washer with a general pump TS2021. It's about 10 years old I think and has worked great since I bought it but this morning I went to wash some equipment and it worked ok until I shut it down and restarted it 30 minutes later, now it will pump water but at about half pressure and pulsates bad. Been a mechanic most of my life but never worked on a pressure washer pump and not sure what might be wrong with it or if it's even worth trying to repair.

Likely, a valve has failed or has something jammed under it, probably one of the three outlet vavles.

There's 6 plugs in two rows on the pump, covering 3 intake and 3 outlet valves. NOT sure, offhand, which is which.
Key s 8 and 11 are the valves.

Check the o-ring in the wand nozzle. I got a pressure washer gave to me because of no pressure and it turned out to be a bad o-ring in the adjustable nozzle and it's worked great for me the last couple of years. bjr

I agree check the valves first, usually that's the trouble but I did have one throw a rod once

thanks for the information, I did check the wand and hose and doesn't seem to be anything plugging it, I will check the valves tomorrow and hopefully that will fix it.

They don't plug when the o-ring goes, it can't build pressure. The o-ring will break. bjr

We have a hotsy at work and ours was doing that blowing o rings out while using heater. They ended up getting high temp orings from one of our vendors.
