I have a pocket flash light that has been banged,dropped,flooded and lost more times than I can
count. The problem is it is getting hot when you use it. Charging is not a problem just using it.
Dangerous or safe to use?

Maybe there are is a connection inside that has developed some corrosion.

Does it have a Lithium battery ? Any damage caused by denting or heavy shock from dropping can compromise the battery body . Fires caused by Lithium are hot and destructive .

If it has always done it I would not worry. If it just started doing it I would toss it. Get a NEBO brand light and go to work. Jim
