Just plain stuuuuupid. Built by someone with too much time on his hands and not enough sense. Just because it can be built doesn't mean it should. Let's see him build an 8N that can fly. That ought to occupy a lot of his time. Why doesn't he occupy his time building a nice boat? At least he would have something useful.
