How do i search for my posts?

I had just figured out how to search my posts on classic and the upgrade came. So, how do I find my old posts on new format?

Click on the search button up by your username, then put in your username where it says "By:", then press the search button. That will bring up all posts by you.

Or you can, on a computer at least, hover over your avatar and a box will open.

Here is a screenshot of this thread when I hovered on your avatar.

Click on "2,572" under "Messages".

Those are your posts.

I just remembered there is yet a third way. Click on your username, then click on Your content.

Or, you can open your user name at the top, and click on "your content". That gets you everything you've been commenting on, not just your posts. steve

And yet another way via "Find threads" (third button, second row at top)
Then it shows what the screen shot shows and you can see threads sorted by ones you started or threads you posted in, etc.

You brought out an important point. It isn't just posts.

Thank you, but I see it only goes back to May 2020

It shows 25 pages of results. If you go to the 25th page, you'll see a button at the bottom that says "View older results". Click that and you'll be looking at the next 25 and so on.

Since normally a search would be satisfied within one or two pages if you were actually looking for content and using keywords, it would be quite wasteful to display all possible posts matching the search, so they provide this method to look at all search results if someone were so inclined to want that much.
