Enough snow to plow that is. I am thinking I better get ahead of it quick. Wife said she thought the storm was coming in tonight, that is all I needed to hear.

I don?t start snow removal until I get 6? or more, but with the unit you are using you may want to start now. This is what I use, but I?m in N. Michigan.

Getting it off before it gets driven on and packed down has always seemed to be the best way to go. And taking off the small amount now will let you do the next round easier.

When the snow gets deep which is rare here I do have another option.

My neighbors are case guys, they would like your setup, I like them all.

Mansfield area, sixty miles north of Columbus and the snow is almost gone over my black top drive way. I did plow before it melted though.

I have snow falling right now and about 2 inches already on the ground. I'm not going to bother to even put the snow plow on let alone plow it. Weather guessers say it will be in the 40s tomorrow and in the 50s Wednesday so I'll let mother nature do it her self

I don?t have a tractor mounted snowblower , just self propelled push model. I always like watching it throw the snow , at least down wind anyway. The deeper it is , the better it throws it. That?s really nice. Be careful

I just upgraded to a 4630 with a 8' Farmking double auger. For the past 25 + years I have been using a open station Belarus with a 6' Farmking single auger. Works fantastic but I was on it last winter right after having my left knee replaced, -20 degrees with a 20 mph wind and I had an epiphany, I saw myself in a Sound Guard cab with a heater and a radio. Should have done this years ago.

We bought this blade from an old neighbor of ours last year & stuck it on our '72. He ran it on a 70(or 720?) for years & then modified it to fit on his 4020 but never really used after that.

Works pretty good but hyd. blade angle control along with plates for the sides the blade to trap snow when clearing in straight lines would be nice.

Regardless, it's better than using the ol' shovel. LOL

Depends on the snow type and equipment i suppose.
Usually 8" to a foot deep is a good time to get started if its a blizzard.
Heavy wet snow sooner than that. Plowing with a model M.
We had 4" light powder last night not even going to bother with.
