I plan on using Nason FUL-POXY® 491-16™ EPOXY PRIMER and FUL-THANE® 2K URETHANE top coat.

Is this the closest match to omni epoxy primer & MTK that nason offers? There's not much white, just the wheels, seat and hood. Im going to use a Finex fx100 gun for the top coat w/ a 1.0 tip.

Will the mix ratio spray ok with this tip?

Im wondering how much of each product including
catalyst and reducers i need to buy.

I do have a supplied air system, actually i just got it this week. It's one of those Turbine Products off ebay. If i was not a member of this site and had not read about painting the past few years, i probably painted w/ just a dust mask. Thanks Todd

A quart of yellow, pint of white is my guess, only a guess, you will likely have some left over. Reducer probably comes only in gallons, at least PPG's does. Your dealer will sell you the proper quantity of hardener depending on the quantity of paint -- I don't know DuPonts ratios. Your 1.0 tip will work, but if that is a full size gun 1.3 is more like it. The epoxy will probably flow better with a 1.5, but again I am not familiar with Dupont's paint.

Thanks CNKS The Sharpe gun does have a 1.0 and the gun i was going to use for the primer is a Eaton (i think it is chinese) gun with a 1.7
What is good for cleaning the guns?

Im going for a chemical bond, so do you think i will have time to clean the primer gun while i wait to apply the top coat?

I guess you can tell this is the first time with a spray gun...LOL

Epoxy has a "wet on wet" chemical bond for days, not hours or minutes -- get the spec sheet for the epoxy you are using and it will tell you how long you have. Don't apply it sooner or later than the sheet says. The spec sheets are on DuPonts web site, somewhat hard to navigate. My original epoxy primer gun had a 1.8 mm tip. This did not leave a smooth finish and I have since reduced that to 1.5 mm -- again the DuPont spec sheet will have that information. If you are using a sandable surfacer over the epoxy, that is not a problem. It may be if you are topcoating directly over the epoxy. For your topcoat gun, Sharpe will have different tips, probably not true for your Chinese gun. For cleaning you can use your reducer, but your dealer should have a solvent that is considerably cheaper. You will have better luck with a solvent that is similar to your reducer than you will with some other product. Your dealer will have that. Lacquer thinner or mineral spirits, which are cheap, don't work very well on urethane.
