Hello,
How often do you guys and gals step on a scale and weight yourself.
I do it about 360 times a year, more or less.
Guido

Hello Bob-MI,
Me too, I call it............... reality check!
Guido.

I Don't have to weight myself, I eat right, and it takes care of itself....
it's called Common Sense, which is not so Common

If your pants feel tight then you are gaining weight, real easy.
Some people just buy bigger pants. and bigger and bigger....and so on.

But.....If you eat right and dont eat the slop that is sold at Mcdonalds, Wendys, Burger King and Arbys then you are on the right road.

So are you overweight?

Me, 5' 11" and I weigh 160 lbs.
When I left high school I weighed 148, that was 24 years ago.

After losing 85 lbs and keeping it off the last 10 years. I check the scales once a week. if I have gained I cut back. I have managed to keep about the same for the last 5 Years.

Once a week, just to keep myself honest.
6' 185 lbs summer 190 winter.
same weight since i was 19,and that's over 40 years ago.

Howdy,
I average about 3 times a week, 74 years old , 6ft tall 185 pounds, doctor wants me to be 160. It's been a long winter.
When I read the title I wasn't sure I wanted to read the question.

Guido. When I stumble upon the scale, you can hear the springs and levers moan and groan. Ticket comes out saying" ONE AT A TIME PLEASE".I now weigh myself on the feed mill scales. Is that where you go? LOL Regards LOU.

I get weighed when I go to the doctors office. I judege how I am doing on weight by how my clothes fit. They get too tight I eat less for a while.

I was on the scale yesterday first time in about 6 month or so. I have no need to see how much I weight. Only time I even gain any weight is if I work out. Went into boot camp at 135lbs and came out at 175lbs. I now stay right around 150-160 and have for the last 15 years or so. Didn't even gain a pound when I stop smoking

Hello gun guru,
NO! I was 145 Lbs. when I went into the service.
Discharge weight, NOV 11 1969 155 lbs. This morning 157 lb. Summertime weight is 155 lbs. The secret? moderation and control.
My wife's hobby is cooking, and can she cook!

Hello Guido. About once every week or three. I just try to watch for trends as I have plateaued out on my latest diet last spring after losing about 30 pounds. Back when I started the atkins diet years ago. I could watch a couple pounds to a pound a day drop off for the first couple three weeks. Lost about 34 pounds total in a few months. Then I went off the diet and gained it all back plus another 15. Takes a lot of mental effort and concentration to diet which all takes hard to find time out of a busy life.

Hi Guido,

I don't weigh myself on any regular schedule, probably average once a week or three times in two weeks.

Here's something I find interesting, though: My weight seems to fluctuate within a range of four or five pounds up or down from the weight I consider normal for me, but I always know how much I weigh before I step on the scale. I'm right, to the pound, about 90-95% of the time. I feel that this demonstrates a good understanding of gravity.

Hello LOU,
My intrument of choice is in need of repair!
The bellows don't close all the way. Something rattles inside them. The old girl needs some
TLC. It still makes noice though.
Next month she will turn 50.

It seems like the pull of gravity has increased over the last 40 years. Fat can't weigh that much. I've got 6 pack abs but you can't see them because of a layer of 12 pack fat but they are under there.

Guido. First one I ever got to play was a 12 bass one. learned on it to bigger 120 bass. Did play at the Polish club Just a couple of times. Not real crazy about Polk's Money to feed the family on.Wife was entertained (in Min Heart Hospital by none other then LOUIE PALERMO (sp) Sent tapes back and forth for a while then for some reason or another I quit sending em. Had to be insulin reaction I guess. At least I lay it on that . I remember the hot tune on one was "LADY OF SPAIN"so that wore me down on accordion music. Should see about getting it fixed and you can do us a tune here. Warmest regards ,LOU
