How to add rear remote lines

Hello I would like to install rear remote lines on my 335. Do I have to purchase the adapter plate that bolts to the top of the lift cover? The current plate that is onthere now looks like there are a couple ports with plugs in them. Could I not just use these ports to run lines to a control valve and then my remote lines? Trying to do this cheap as possible and I have access to hydraulic fittings/hoses from work and then I would just purchase a valve for around 100$. Thanks!

I'm not sure which cover you have, however typically the factory cover does not contain provisions for powering another valve.

Ideally you'd get a "tapping manifold" that sandwiches between the lift cover and the existing plate. Any valve that you
would then tap into should be "power beyond capable".

Sounds like you have the factory blocking plate with the large bolt head near the middle which plugs the test port. In order to use that test port to power an external valve you need to chain the 3 point lift arms down and raise the 3 point control handle. So if your need for rear remotes is based on an implement that needs hydraulic power, but also is raised by the 3 point arms you can't use that test port to power a remote valve while you have the implement attached and need to raise and lower the implement with the 3 point arms.

You can buy a single or dual spool remote vale that bolts on where the factory blocking plate is now. That type of remote valve replaces the blocking plate. Or you could get a power beyond plate that goes under the factory blocking plate that Bern mentioned. With a power beyond plate you would use an external remote valve.
