How to fix?

Front end loader with gash. Best way to fix. Cost?

Looks like a simple fix at least for me it would be. I would grind it out real good the remove the paint and make it nice and clean. Then I would weld it up and then put a fish plate over it so as to make it as strong or stronger then it was. @ maybe 3 hour job if that long. To bad your not close enough to me I could do it pretty easy

I have fixed loader that had one whole side broken off not all that hard to do just takes time and the know how to weld it up the correct way.

ditto what old said, grind, weld, then weld nagle or flat patch over it.

I agree with all of the above just out of curiosity what caused that kind of a gash without tearing something else up.
