How do you measure the width of the rear rim, my tire size is 12.4 X 28 (Jubilee). I am looking at tires with rims from Tuckertires, but the rim looks alittle narrower than mine. I don't know if I have 10", 11" or 12" rims? Any help is greatly appreciated, Again thanks in advance.

t the 8 1/2 inch point on your tape measure is the bead seat for the tire. Measure from one bead seat to the other bead seat. Most accurately measured with tire off & on inside , seat to seat.

Thanks, JMOR. I re-measured the front bead seat to the wheel (8") and then from the wheel to the rear bead seat (2"). Not a real good accurate measurement because tire is mounted. I guess the rim is a 10"? I plan on keeping these tires mounted and I want to replace them with the same size tires and rims. Again, thanks for your help.

Also measure from the center to the outer rim bead on the back side and deduct 1/2" from the total. I have a rim gauge,,, it comes in handy...

WARNING all I know I read on the Internet,,, do it enuff and you can become a guru also,,, not responsible for damages,,, I read it and just pass it along,,, proceed with caution

JMOR, Thanks, now I know how to measure the rim, will make it easier to order the tires an rims. Again, thanks. John

Hobo, Handy guage, especially when you have a tire mounted on the rim. Hard to measure with my ruler. Again, Thanks for the pic. and info., John

ANY reasonably correct tractor tire you choose will fit equally well on a 10", 11" or 12" rim.

You are simply making a mountain out of a molehill. (Or splitting hairs.)
