How to recognize YT's

How do we recognize each other?

I am thinking I could wear my Case IH cap to the JD show this weekend. I usually wear that into the JD dealer and JD cap to Case IH dealer.

I WENT TO A CASE IH COMBINE SCHOOL brain wash . Had to walk some distance , got to door realized I had my JD cap on. They offered several times to trade my cap ( made in IOWA ) for one of their foreign made junk caps . I didn"t budge . Later a fellow farmer came up to me and said I had big ba** for wearing that cap, I said that the farmer I came with had used J D equipment exclusevilly for 55 years and John DEERE sent a new combine out that wouldn"t work and nobody cared enough to help . Now he"s all red and I don"t work there any more . Just a side note the red combine was a piece of junk that nothing worked from the unload auger to sensors to would not start at 20 * .

Next time I come to "The Rapids" I'll wear my safety orange JD cap from Sloan's Implement in Assumption, Illinois.

I'll stay at Squaw Creek RV facility and come 8 or 9 miles east on Mount Vernon Road and look for a "New" 44.

Years ago prior to the Florida Flywheelers I posted I would be the dude in the JD Green Golf Cart with yellow wheels, so I get there and am driving around and swear half the carts there were Green with yellow wheels lol. Its like "I will be the dude in the IH hat" etc, when theres probably over a hundred such there. I have met several by posting something like see you at the Snow Engine Bldg around 2 PM etc that seems to work. Theres also posting cell phone numbers. Despite all this I have met several YT ers when I"m cruising and someone yells HEY JOHN T......

I think that I will be the only one there displaying a combine and chopper. I will have my name on my shirt or farm hat. I will be hanging around that area most of the show. Hope to see everyone there. Tom

If I make it and already this week is getting hectic, I'll be in a Black baseball cap that says Iowa rowing in gold letters on the front and Allison's dad on the back please introduce yourself if you see me. John

When you say chopper do you mean a forage harvester? If so what model? I may come over on Friday and I really like forage equipment.

YT's at shows are fairly easy to identify. They tend to walk upright, bath regularly and wear matching socks and shoes.
