How To Remove 3020 Hyd Pump Coupler?

My "new to me" and first John Deere tractor is a 1964 3020 LP. The aluminum clamp-type coupler from the front of the engine to the hydraulic pump is loose and clatters. One bolt goes one way and the other opposite. I think I can get some kind of ratchet wrench onto one stud bolt, but how in the heck do I remove both? Thanks for any ideas. kelly

Go thru RH side w/socket and extension then turn the engine 180 degrees and remove the other. Be sure there are no nuts on them.

Thanks, D-
I was afraid that I could not turn the engine after removing one bolt. I'll give this a try. Thanks again! kelly

Yes, I meant to be sure to rermove the nut if they were there before trying to remove the bolts.
You also need to hold the bolts while tightening the nuts so as not to loosen the bolts.

Got new couplers and bushings from J D dealer today and got 'em installed. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately it didn't remove all the "racket". Seller told me he'd had the hydraulic pump rebuilt. Pwr steering is VERY slow to the RIGHT. Seller said rebuilder said it will improve with use. I'm wondering, because of the noise with NEW coupler/bushings IF rebuilder didn't get things aligned??? kelly
