Serial number 1869, with dealer installed rototiller, Has the very rare low low range transmission. It turns over but will need restoration and a rear tire replaced which I have and goes with it....

Agreed, but that handle and tiller probably means there is some kind of reduction in there. Nice to know what & how it was done.

I'd like to see that "early 9N s/n" but I don't do FAKEBOOK. Often guys see a casting part number and think it is the s/n. Engine Block Serial Numbers were only stamped in one place; by the Oil Filter Hsg and had a START Prefix and Suffixe in it. ALL 9N & 2Ns had the "9N" s/n prefix too.

Don't know about this HOWARD ... is it supposed to have one?

Parts are NLS so good luck with that.
