Hubs

Will farmall c front hubs fit on farmall h. If not can I put farmall c narrow front on farmall h. Trying to lighten tractor 25 lbs.

I will say no to the C hubs on the H. A C narrow front is not a direct bolt on to the H. You could do it with an adapter plate I would think. Have you thought of using stamped steel wheels on the front? How about a 9 bolt hub and stamped steel wheels on the rear? You can loose a lot of weight that way. The last resort would be to go a diet, ha ha. There are all kinds of ways to loose some weight on the tractor. I have seen pullers grind off the flanges on the operators platform. Grind the axle stubs till they are round. We have one H in our club that will pull in the 3500 class with all that done.

I have done rear wheels with 9 bolt. Taken hydro pump , belt pulley and pto to make weight class. Put new tires on and 25 pounds to heavy for my best class.

In the old days, some ran a single front wheel.

Go to a pressed steel hub then put like 13inch tires and wheels on this would let you loose some weight enough don't know.
