I should not laugh at that but I did. that will be me someday.

I actually found myself in that position a couple years ago. I was about 30 feet from my front door but couldn't get up or crawl. Don't remember what made me fall. I was on flat ground but it was like my body had no muscular strength to work any of my limbs to get up or crawl. People around me live on 5 acre or more plots. I yelled for help but to no avail. Finally my closest neighbor (my nephew) came home. He heard my call for help and came down and got me up and into the house. Once I got into the warm house, my limbs started to work again. I was able to fend for myself again in about 30 minutes. I don't remember anything about why I wound up on the ground. I went to the doctor in a couple days and he was just as baffled as I was about the incident. I have had nothing that would even give me a clue about the incident since.

SO......yes it could happen to you.

My previous answer when I saw that commercial had always been...OK, so lay down and take a nap! It's a little different now.

My wife is real bad about laughing at videos of people falling down, and the real funny ones she wants me to watch. Anyway about 3 days ago she tripped over the granddaughter's toy and did a 180 and fell on her butt. She was mad at first then watched on camera we have in house she stated laughing. I told her it was Carma for laughing at others. And I got way with it so far

She must have been proud of him.. My wife would have left me there and canceled the wedding, and I wouldn't blame her.

I'm big and have a hard time getting up from the ground. A few years ago, I was doing a water line repair and had to get on the ground to turn off the water meter alongside of a main street, guess what couldn't get up, been on the ground for a few minutes a car stops people get out ask me if I'm hurt and help me get up. In all my years, never been so embarrassed in my life

And with neuropathy I seem to fall more often.
