hyd fill point

Max.......the N-Hydraulic system holds 5-gals of Ford/New-Holland spec'd 60wt M2C-134D hydro-tranny oil. Fill'em-up by the tranny shifter. (twist-lock) Pour slow with BIG funnel. You can also use the 1939 spec'd 90wt mineral gear oil. Modern GL-1 is close approximation. DO NOT USE modern multi-weight GL-4 and GL-5.

Correct level is eaziest set by the 6-o'clock bolt hole in the 6"-roundy dipstick plate. DO NOT OVERFILL as yer tranny and rearaxle oil slingers will splash oil out the bearing cages and worn seals and lube yer clutch and brake shoes. NOT GOOD. .......Dell, the splashless

There are 3 drains, tranny, hydraulic sump and differential. It will take less than 5 gallons due to sludge build up in the system. It is very much worthwile to remove the bolt as recommended and go very slow to allow the oil to spill over to all three chambers.
