Hyd filter light flashing

Case 580 super E has the hyd filter light flashing. Is
this something normally resolved by new filter and
hyd oil change or a sign of other issues. This backhoe
just gets occasional farm use.
 
Does it do it when the oil is warmed up? [size=18:8e8ea62b32][/size:8e8ea62b32] It would be normal to have a hydraulic filter light on in cool temps. It was in the K's manual to expect that. That being said, off brand filters have different flow ratings than Case or Fleetgard so if you are using an off brand filter that could cause it. Also Case recommends the HTU,oil for all their Hydraulics, Off brand oils could cause it to if they are higher in viscosity.
