Hyd levers

I have a 1977 Ford 3600 Gas Tractor that has two levers under the seat I know that they go to the rear hyd conections but I don't know how to operate them they are both very stiff to move. Hope someone out there can help me out with some info on these levers

Perhaps the spool valves have rusted from weather exposure.

DO NOT force the handles as they are cast iron and can break at the pivot ends. Replacement handles are expensive and some are NLA.

as dean said check the spool shafts for rust. squirt some penetrant oil on them if no rust and jiggle back and forth with minimal effort.

The levers control the output of a hydraulic valve that diverts hydraulic flow to what ever you hook up to the output ports.
For instance, you could hook up a 3 x 8 inch hydraulic cylinder to the output ports and raise or lower a haybine.
The flow is low volume so something like a log splitter or a loader should be powered by a different source.

remotes man... remote hyds. spool valves.. for inplements or loaders.. anything that might need hyds.

like a tail lift wheel on a transport disc or tail wheel and wing cyls on a batwing mower... tilt and angle for a gannon setup.. or front dozer blade.. or hyds for a fel.. etc.
