Hyd. pump

Gentlemen:
Have a 1976 2040-A John Deere tractor.
Lately when it leans to the right side the pump will not lift the lift, and a hard squeal comes from under the seat area. when the tractor levels out the lift works fine.
It does not do this when the tractor is leaning to the left.
Have checked fluid level and it is fine.
Please Help.

Try running it a gallon over full. You could have a leak in a pick up tube somewhere.
