hyd pump

On my mt the hyd pump is on the front of the motor and i was going to hook up a wood splitter to the hyd fitting under the hyd handels and run the return back to the tank under the seat.Do u guys think the pump will have the power to do the job.The tractor now has a farm hand loader and it seems to work good. Or im i wasting my time on this. Thanks

It will only have about 1200 PSI which is a bit low for most splitters to preform well,,but it will also depend on what you are splitting and the size of the splitter cylinder.

Better off to run a small 1 cyl. engine with a 2 stage pump. Way better on gas and more power !!!
