hydralic plate leaks

The block off plate for the hydralic oil is leaking real bad. I took it off and it is just a plate with O rings and I put it back together and it's worse. What is the best way to stop the leaking.

Make sure the plate is flat and replace the Orings,torque the hold down bolts in a criscross pattern evenly and it should stop leaking

Make sure to clean the plate properly.there are some pads called GRIT SURFACE CONDITIONING KIT at harbour freight $12.99 these clean the metal real good . Once both surfaces are cleaned and new gasket used just torque it down in a cris cross pattern & you should be good to go....
