hydralic pump knocking

when i lift my disc the pump seems to really be knocking, i noticed it was louder after i replaced the pto shaft any help apreciated.

If you search in the archives with the words 'pump knocking', you'll find a quick procedure for aligning the pump and PTO shaft, back in 03/30/06.
It sure helped quiet the knock mine developed after re-building the pump. I have a suspicion it may actually be knocking against the hydraulic housing at the front right corner of the pump.

The pumps used in any of the TE20/TO20/TO30/TO35/MF35/MF65/F50 tractors are piston type pumps and they do tend to knock, some more than others, especially if they have some wear in them. This is nothing to worry about......John
