Hydraulic Fluid

Replaced the seals on my 660. Reset everything. Lift will pick up and then it doesn"t. Looked inside didn"t see any leaks. Doesn"t leak down. Used Tech fluid from Wal-mart says that it is compatible with M2C134D fluid. Is this the right hydraulic fluid? Or did I screw it up.

That fluid should be just fine even if it came from China-Mart. Bet you have a suction leak or the pump is loosing prime

if the lift works, then suddenly stops then works again.. I'd be looking at a sticky unlaoder not a suction leak.. though it's super easy few second job to verify prime before moving on to the real work of freeign that sticky unloader ( if it is that.. etc.. )

Most likely a stuck unloader. Very very common on those tractors....

The 600 series uses an 80/90 gear oil.Ford service manual says so.Pump may have lost prime.
