Hydraulic Hose

This is a hydraulic hose from Ford front end loader circa 1960. Does anybody recognize these? Are they still available?

Top one looks like a JIC swivel and the lower one is an O-ring boss (ORB). Any place that makes hose should be able to match the sizes, as both are available in multiple sizes.

Take the old hoses and tell them to match up with same size just opposite looking ends and check they screw on good before they put them on the hose.

Common and still available.Take the old hose to your favorite hose repairing place and get a new one made up.

Talk about sticker shock!! Blew a hose on the fold up cylinders on my ancient NH3 applicator, fortunately it was just when I finished the field and was raising the extensions. Decided to replace both hoses as they were very old, stiff as a pitch fork handle and hardly any rubber coating remaining. Just plain old 3/8 hose with a 3/8 pipe thread male 3/8 end and a 1/2 male pipe thread on the other end, one hose 10' and the other 12' cost was $276.58. Made up at the local auto parts store. Guess I better start checking at the local TSC store.

Hydraulic hose and fittings have gotten ridiculously high, for years hydraulic shops marked up hose and fittings 100% over cost which paid the labor to make up a hose plus a profit
Today the price is triple the cost, this spring I had a 1/4 inch hose 13 ft long made up with jic fittings, the hose was over $9 per ft plus over $15 each for the fittings. As I was finishing up hay I blew another hose on the mower, this hose is over 25 ft long.
Recently I purchased a used hose making machine and picked up some hose and fittings from a local supplier, 1/4 inch hose cost $3.15 per ft and fittings were $5-6 each, with the mower hoses, 3 front end loaders needing replumbed plus new hoses for the batwing mower I will save more than enough to pay for the machine

You sure did better than me. We don't have farm fleet farm but we have TSC, Bomgaars and Atwoods. I will shop
around. I like to keep a few new hoses on hand, 8' is the most common but if I keep a couple of 8' and a couple
of 4' I can usually get by. All my tillage machines sit outside so the sun is hard on the hoses.
