Hydraulic issues with MF TO35

A whole back I replaced the Hydraulic pump in my 1957 Massey Ferguson TO35: solved one problem but gave me another.
I'll try to make this brief. I attempted to make adjustments to the hydraulic lift system's vertical levers via the horizontal rods and springs connected to the levers. The manual says to adjust the spring pressure to 3 lbs. at the bottom of the levers. My problem is either they require too much pressure to move or no pressure at all.
I experimented with different tension on the springs, but that didn't help. If the draft is set to the adjustment position and I try to move the position control lever, it moves the draft lever. The position control will rase and lower the arms but in the wrong area of the quadrant. If I move the draft control lever to the top position, and the position control to up, it's like I just put on the brakes.

Something ain't right.

Issues resolved! The manuals are vague and really don't help on this subject. After two days, reading manuals, experimenting, and studying the way the hydraulics work, It's simple; Set the quadrent levers to the adjustment positions. Arms in the down position, loosen the nut on the concentric washer, and move it away from the tab it contacts. Use the locknuts on the lever springs to adjust the levers ⅛ inch from the front of the bracket. Move the concentric washer so that it just touches the tab and tighten. Done.
