have 1956 ford tractor 640 hydraulic leaking into transmission. Tubes don"t seem to be leaking put air pressure on them. what else do I need to check?
 
Common problem on them and the out series fords. Seal between the tranny/hyds goes bad and the oils mix. 2 ways to fix. One is a lot of work the other is just an oil change. Replace the seal which means taking the tractor apart or run HY/tran in the tranny/hyds/rear end. Your call but I have been doing that for years on my 841 because of that type of problem
