and also check the cylinders for leakage.... remove the hose on the opposite end of the lifting port. install a hose to there into a bucket.
when the cylinder is dead headed and if you have oil pouring out then your seals are shot. if you have milky oil there may have been water
frozen in there and you tore the seals.

I disconnected hose at the bottom of the reservoir and there is no screen present. I have attached photos so you all can see what I see. They include the controls, the reservoir with draining oil, the pump, and each cylinder (blue are lift and yellow is tilt)

That Wye strainer housing mounted at your pump suction port should have a strainer in it.

That Wye strainer housing mounted at your pump suction port should have a strainer in it.

your fluid looks contaminated, water in fluid can freeze and cause all kinds of problems. additionally, water in the fluid can cause foaming of the fluid
with also causes issues. good luck

Yes that is how mine is set up. The resevoir is in the loader frame and the outlet to the pump has a screen that does clog up even though there is also a filter up by the controls. It was a pain to drain the resevoir with the hose to the pump, so I put a hole on the outside of the resevoir and I can now quickly drain the tank, then unhook the hose to the pump without a mess, and do a check on that screen.

can t find a filter anywhere. Going to pull that screen out today.

ey all got the plug off, but not able to get the fitting off to get that screen out. I went ahead and just took the whole piece off so if I cannot figure out how to get this off maybe I can just replace it. What do you all think?

Tap (with a hammer) around the periphery of the fitting in the area surrounding the plug/reducer while supporting the opposite side on an anvil.

Rotate the fitting as you tap, go around and around the fitting, which will swell the area slightly and make the plug easier to remove.

Don't hit TOO hard as the fitting is cast/ iron and CAN be broken, but in reality not REAL easily and you can hit/tap with reasonable force with no danger of breaking it.
