Hydraulic Pump On A WD45 Engine

I just picked up this WD that has a WD45 engine. I have been told that. I don't know much about an Allis Chalmers Wd or WD45 tractors as far as the differences. I believe the tractor is a Wd because of the straight transmission shifter.
I know one thing, this is a not a tractor for short old man. I almost fill off this thing twice already getting on and off. But now the question. This tractor has a hydraulic pump mounted on the rear of the distributor, has a New Idea loader frame for the reservoir and a two spool hydraulic valve mounted on the fender. Was this a popular set-up? I don't know if I am going to part the tractor out or keep it whole. I bought it for the nice 13.6 x 28" Firestone tires.
I got it running after cleaning the carb, has very good compression. Guy I bought it from said that it leaked oil from the rear main. The rear main leaked a little when I first started it but after running it about half hour, there is no leak at all.
Does anybody know anything about this pump and what else that it may fit?

Never ever seen one like that. I imagine the timing gears, after enough loader use, don't live long.

Does anyone know much about them? I'd like to know what their capabilities are and how bad they are for the timing gears on the tractor. Also, who made them and are they still available?

The pic of a pump on an Allis WC, is from an old ebay auction. Thanks for the help.

Looks like it would fit anything with a magneto. It would be very rare to find a WD45 engine with a magneto/magneto drive. I suppose if it came out of a power unit, maybe. This engine is most likely a WD engine with that magneto drive on it.

Series III and IV. Prior it was on the dist. drive.

Looks like it would fit anything with a magneto. It would be very rare to find a WD45 engine with a magneto/magneto drive. I suppose if it came out of a power unit, maybe. This engine is most likely a WD engine with that magneto drive on it.

I was told this a WD 45 engine. I have no idea.

The early D-17's had a gear driven/governor driven power steering pump, yes. It was 8 GPM and 1600 psi max. They had issues with the governor gear wearing out the woodruff keyway on the pump shaft. So, I can only imagine a 12 GPM @ 2,000 psi pump would only be worse. Of course, I am guessing at those numbers, but I'll bet I'm very close.

It looks like an oil line going to the governor which would be a 45 engine. However the oil fill casting looks like WD. If you look at the engine serial no. on the block behind the carburetor it should say "WD" or "45".
