Hydraulic pump psi

if its a 8 speed yes that's easy a 6 speed with a pump/valve combo unit I know no way,,,, on the 8 speed style hook a flow meter tester in line and turn the test valve in to 2100 psi max to avoid pump damage,,, just do not dead head the pump Ever

Yes, Its called a flowmeter. Measures the amount of flow at any given pressure. What a lot of people can't understand is that a hydraulic system can generate a PSI that matches specifications, yet has little to zero flow. Always remember that Flow is to Speed, as Pressure is to Force. The sole purpose of a hydraulic pump is to create flow! A worn pump can, and will show a heavy load generating max psi, but since the pump is bypassing internally, no flow equates to no lift situation.

Something to look for if you pull the control valve is cracks on the front side. I had one crack there and dumped the flow right back to the rear end. Testing the pump is a good place to start.
