Hydraulic pump

....This is one of many with an internet search.

What are you looking for as far as PSI and flow? I just built a 110v setup for my day job, about all you can get out of 110v is 2 gpm at 1,800 psi. Once you get past that the amps get too high for most 110v circuits.

You can go the the Bailey Hydraulics website, they have several calculators to help you figure everything out. https://www.baileyhydraulics.com/resources/tools/calculators/
You bring up a very valid point that must be considered in these cases. Hydraulic power out (pressure times flow) will by definition always be less than the electric power going in (volts times amps). You can never convert power from one form to another without losing some to heat.

You also have to consider that even the best designed hydraulic system you loose at least 15% efficiency, from the drive to the work done.
Which is why a hydrostatic tractor won’t have as much drawbar hp as its gear drive counterpart. You also loose some in gearing, but not as much as hydraulics.

Most likely more then you want, I rescued a few standing unit we were going to scrap off an older machine, 20 hp wired 480 volt. Has a 30 gal tank with filter system. It been sitting in the.back shed under cover. What I was going to do with it I ended up buying a 50 ton press so most likely will never use. Can be yours for a song😁, reply back if it’s of use to you. Good luck.

That’s a big unit, and being 480V I assume it’s 3 phase.
